He gets away with it because he is just doing the same as all the others before him that have done the same with other companies and never get prosecuted from ASIC..
Only have to look at the latest ICAC findings and a certain ex premier looks like not having to worry about Criminal charges.
Unfortunately the current system promotes this type of behavior and nothing will change until that point in time.
JUst stick to the basics, if something sounds to good to be true then more often that not it’s not worth investing in.
