Just for the fun of it, I googled some more facts on China.
The estimated number of middle class in China is 225 Million (or over 9 times the total population of Australia).
By 2022, 76 per cent of the urban population will be in the middle class earnings range (somewhere between $16,000 to $43,000 from what I can gather in a quick search)
The total population of Shanghai is roughly the same as the total population of Australia.
Most stats give a figure of around 24.1 million population for Shanghai.
China has more Billionaires than the USA.
