VERY different indeed. Do I have a vague memory of that guy absolutely hosing investors at the IPO by retaining a huge slice? From memory it put me off the company (unfortunately as it then quickly 50 bagged while this one did SFA).

That said we shouldn't be paying Simon a million bucks for a 43-45 cent result on a 70 cent starting line. He took the sovereign risk on as an exec and stood to make large gains in his remuneration if it came off. It didn't. He shouldn't get large gains on top of his large salary.
