So just a quick summary:
- Still in talks with Mali government with no definitive timeline
- Additional sale of 5% of LLL at MLBV level to GF @ US$65m is binding and contingent on a resolution with the Mali government
- 80% completed, estimated first spodumene production early Q3 of 2024 (and the first spod producer in West Africa)
- Critical paths are electrical and power plant installation packages. Power plant permit currently being re-assessed by the Mali Gov, and in the unfortunate situation it has not been granted during commissioning, the mine can run on temporary power but will be unable to ramp up production.
- It will take an estimated 6 months to hit nameplate capacity from first production (so early Q1 2025).
- Remains on budget not taking into account the unplanned import and customs fee.
- As of March 2024, we have paid US$23m in said fees and taxes.
- As of EO2024, we have committed US$241 of the US$285 construction total (~85%).
- Currently have 1500 Malians on the books.
