100% @Balls&Brown and to your next post too. My best guess is that the unproven factor makes spec tech companies more difficult to value than straight up commodities. This then allows large interested parties to keep a stranglehold on the share price.

Not cross promoting, but as a comparison, the handful of other companies I hold with a tech component have made similar lack of progress in share price growth across 6+ years. Each of them have been much higher in fits and starts, but presently, from my purchase price:

• AVL is up by 3.6 times
• LPD by 3 times
• NMT by 6 times
• WBT by 2 times

WBT is on the brink of commercialising. Imo NMT have strong management, tech, alliances and prospects. AVL have a solid resource and likely bright future in an uncrowded space with their VRFB (vanadium redox flow battery).

The market cap increase of these 4 companies pales into insignificance next to the multiples of the miners AGY, AKE, AVZ, CXO, LTR and PLS. I no longer hold 3 of these 6 and have reduced my holdings in 2, choosing to roll profits to where there is greater potential.

As my "Sentiment" below declares, I consider LPD a buy, as we await its eventual revaluation. Surely it can't be long now for the patience of long term holders to be rewarded.
