With LIT shares in free fall, the takeover should now be academic, if not neurotic.
This Friday, LIT doesn't seem to have any choice but withdraw the takeover and become a good boy, by admitting it can only use LMAx but not own it. Otherwise, it can clutch at straw towards its self-destruct path.
Even if there is some pain for LPD holders, the sell off today ensures the t/o is finally off.
