Agree. There is always hope but the announcement sounds like the next phase of LPD life will be bruising.
All the indications are that something is amiss in Abu Dhabi. Ok. I accept that on face. What is not acceptable is JW repeated insistance that AD “is a great place for LPD to do business”. It may have been a great place for JW to do business but it has clearly not been a great place for LPD (especially with the finance strategy that was designed and led by JW).
I cannot blame AD for being AD. I can hold a managing director accountable for claiming something is awesome when behind the scenes it has not been awesome.
After a very disrespectful performance by MD in AGM last year, serious questions need to be put to the BoD about why this has been allowed to drift so badly.
