I'm guessing a big aim of this acquisition is to address concerns from utilities that the 10 year LOM is too short for them, especially bigger utilities which would probably favour consistent supply for decades. This should put Lotus in a better position for those discussions as both deposits are in Africa so jurisdictional risk is relatively similar, despite not being geographically close enough to bring much operational/commercial synergies.
