Can't believe it has gone this far without zijin properly stepping in.
This can easily go both ways.
Zijin may finally be forced to move and do something to actually solve the mess genorah have made. But how much power do zijin really have in SA if the DMR after saying they look forward to working with zijin etc, now turn around and say nah we are over the lack of movement and are cancelling the mining right.
would this mean a new application is needed or will the dmr take the mines off genorah/nkwe?
Be nice if nkwe let us know the exact reasoning behind the dmr contemplating the cancellation rather than a super brief letter Ann.
Or is the dmr letter like the iop issues where it was a bit of chat until something was done and sorted?
Either way, this is ridiculous it has gone on this long and so far, hopefully zijin step in and fix this asap
