The new CEO would need to "clean up shop" and attract / invest heavily in competent product and delivery talent. Their CPaaS competitors are just too far ahead. All the complexity and overhead in enterprise sales would need to be stripped out and simplified. That is a two year journey as a minimum. Who will fund this? VCs won't be interested, PE only keen on stripping out costs, while potential acquirers care more about the market / customers than the technology.
