Sitting here in a hospital waiting for my gall bladder to be removed after emergency admission to clear gall stones from the bile duct on Monday, puts me in a reflective mood and risk ridicules from all and sundry by oversharing such minor medical condition compared to the dreaded cancer many others are facing.
i invested in imu quite a few years ago. Went through the numerous, numerous iteration of hope, greed, sense of being part of contributing to the fights against a horrible blight that many of us might face.
i can remember reading all kind of posts about IMU in so many settings over the years, in the car, on the plane, on holidays, in different countries, pre covid, covid shut down, Trump 1, Trump 2, child in high schoo
l, child at uni, moved house, Morrison, also, relatives passing away,....etc, etc.....
you get in, it's a long haul, sold out a couple of months ago, bought back in and promptly lost a few hundred in short order. IMU has insensitised me about losing money.
it's funny how I try to save a dollar or two every time I fill in the petrol, or choose the cheaper brands at the supermarket, or share a dish with my wife. And yet losing a few hundred on imu is like " Oh it's just a few hundred, phew, it is nothing. Maybe it will come good...soon."
there you go, some free entertainment for you. Go flame away..
With so much investment involved, i wonder what risk management steps have been or are taken by imu mgt in betting on hitting the jackpot.
They talk about millions like it is nothing to my ears.
maybe it is just the wrong casino table for small 'investor' like me. Mom and dad, you know.
maybe it us all in the TA and timing, forget about the Funnymentals. Slick has been right all along.
all flames are welcome.
lets have it!
LOL
ps hospital food is under rated, especially if you have been on 'Nil Orally' for a few days.
Thank God for the nurses, and the pain killers. I love you, Morphine!
