Funnily enough, the anaesthetics are the best part for me.
One minute, the anaesthetics consultant was telling me, " I will put you to sleep now..." or " count to 100...."
i would then......
open my eyes a few hours later and find myself facing the ceiling in a different room on a different floor in a different ward, with different personnel milling around and wondered to myself, " WTF happened?!" Then came the soreness from somewhere.
Still, a preferable situation to waking up in a ice soaked bathrub in a seedy motel, somewhere in Asia, a nasty cut and missing a kidney, I suppose. Especially if you are just at the beginning of your trip and have not had a chance to see all the sights, go to all the tik tok spots, and use all the paid up accommodations, park entrances etc.
Or, waking up to another "Letter to the Shareholders".
