Yes, that s my understanding.
It would be beneficial to offset a sale with the greater profit against an holding over 12 months old, rather than one held for less than 12 months.
@KingGnome Both the 2015 & 2018 purchases are over 12 months so when sold you have the 50% cgt discount on both.
What I meant is that you cannot combine a parcel held less than 12 months with one held longer than 12 months and clain the cgt discount on the combined total.
Apologies if my earlier comment inferred that.
