Out of the money short dated options can be fun when awaiting imminent news.
Back in 2006 I bought JMSO when they had just 6 weeks to maturity with Xmas falling in the middle of those 6 weeks.
SP 14c, strike price 20c, option price next to nothing.
Anyway JMS came out with some decent announcements about Fe assays and the SP went to 40c+ the the options to around 20c.
Probably worth a $500 punt this time as well.
