So Cheryl asks you not to "protest vote" against the deal.
Unfortunately if you vote for the deal, the Company is probably still on the edge of insolvency. Once it pays all of the trade creditors, there is not much cash left. Contractors probably a bit sick of being stretched whilst the glam boy rides around getting photos of himself at charity events and getting $670k per annum .
All shareholders get diluted to nothing if the deal is done - holdings will be almost worthless. Vote for this and you have nothing, but the board still enjoys fat salaries for a another year or until the cash balance falls below $35m and the lenders call it in. There will have to be another CR if they are to fund those other mines = even more dilution.
This board is not entitled. If you vote no, it's not the death of an icon nor the end of an era. It would represent the turning point in accountability and integrity for this board to be keel hauled. A state Labour government is imminent, the days of the self serving smirky company promoter are over.
