Exactly the letter that we needed - and yes it would have been better if it was release on Monday. But I guess they were maybe taken by surprise and just had to deal with it immediately on the spot when Z broke the news to them - before it was picked up on by the media, then all hell would have broken loose.

Yes, Alex has been rightly in the driving seat for most of the time. I might say that I was surprised when I first bought into DCC re the absolute focus on Z as the driving force of day-to-day management of the company and some posters obsession with his involvement with non-DCC activities as distractions to achieving the companies goals.

Ho-hum, it's turned out to be positive for me as I took the opportunity to average down my purchase price. But I do feel for those that reacted quickly and got out - the sort of thing that I normally do, and end up crystallising losses. Luckily on this occasion I slept in and missed all the excitement and it was too late to do anything - I'm in China atm, which is 2hrs behind EAST.
