OMG, Amscot just told me they could do a HIN->SRN conversion for me when my prior account manager Jackson told me flatly that they could not and would not do it despite other parties like boardroom, HSBC custodian telling me that a broker ought to be able to do this, and me querying it with him on more than one occasion, he said it was not possible.
5 weeks of work and about 10 new trading accounts, 4 new bank accounts and all of this BS could have been avoided!
Interested to hear that account manager left Amscot on Friday. Is that why it is suddenly possible?
