Why is 4DS using the term “unknown” and attributing it to achieving a successful outcome to the etch process? Is 4DS totally in the dark on the probability to achieving a successful outcome?

Are 4DS using predictive digital etch simulators before sending its etch mask templates to imec? What process is 4DS following to qualify it’s etch mask template before manufacturing its platform lots?
