If you have to wait 2 years mate the reram ship would have well and truly sailed.

4DS MUST get their reram in WD production in the next few months otherwise Weebit management will be sweet talking WD into licensing their tech.

In fact, I'm sure Weebit are already talking to WD and are very aware of the tech and the ways they are leading the reram space.

This may ultimately be the reason WD are deciding to part ways with 4DS.

It is easier, cheaper and more efficient to license Weebit reram.

Remember 4DS is made of Pr, Ca and Nm (rare mineral and difficult to fab) as opposed to Weebit made of Silicon Oxide ( abundant, cheap and super simple to fab).

Weebit also had significantly better endurance and retention last time I checked, and wbt just announced they have 4x this.

To be honest, why would any tier one consider 4DS over Weebit....
