I find it hard to believe the figure is $500 million. The amount is not much to those giants samsung, micron or even WDC. They can write that check without even blinking.
the Sum is much higher. Much more. The speed was comparable to drum before. Now it 1 magnitude higher. Most likely same as dram or higher.
if it is a dram killer it is no surprise the suspension and suspense continues.
