pretty simple takeaway from the letter and what's been published already....note holders took control (before they lost control) over any deal or otherwise with regards the value of ALO. they held the ultimate control and their debt being paid down with fair value or otherwise was a loss of that control so they pulled the pin to ensure they kept control.
