Hi jtskins, you make some really good points. I just wanted to share this from a recent letter to invions shareholders:
"the coming months are focussed on securing a strategic investment and/or the sale of the Company and/or its assets"
The timeframe of months for a deal to be secured is longer than I initially (probably naively) expected. Hence the need to raise: it will strengthen their negotiating position and give them more time to secure a favourable deal.
How they got into this financial position? Par for the course with biotechs or mismanagement?
