if we vote for this, we give the company the right to make that conversion at any time without further shareholder approval. The past history has shown a happy willingness to use options and shares to make payments ... why not do it again?

Earnings would look a lot better doing things that way .....

I also am struggling with the dollar values stated. The figures are in US dollars, but they seem to be equating it back to the share price (in AUD) without converting it ... or am I reading it wrong?
