As a Petroleum Engineer I think it's too early to tell about Dorado and Phoenix South.
Porosity and Permeability are linked and invariably a high porosity system is a high permeability system. Additionally 8 % Porosity is pretty good for Gas flows; yes you would like it to be higher but it's not bad; a 10 md rock is great for gas flows but pretty bad for oil flows.
I think if CVN and Macquarie (Quadrant) had flow tested the well it would have silenced a number of critics. Having said that offshore wellbeing requires proper and long term planning so I imagine that's what they will do for Dorado 2 or the next well that they drill.
For the record I bought in a little late at 0.600 and will be holding onto it. I think Quadrant will pull out the cash for the development and if CVN can't fund their share they will raise it or get bought out at a premium. Either way I think it's a great stock to hold onto.
