IMO the BoD are accountable for every decision that is made. If they fell for some kind of false promotion on the Madagascan project as you say then that in itself is not good enough.
If you are interested in sovereign risk I suggest you chat to Mr Porter about his project in Burkina Faso.
Many of us have endured years of poor decisions and minimal shareholder engagement. Like a politician in an election year the board are only now reaching out to shareholders. Sorry but the damage has been done.
