I agree.

I don't see the point of the announcement as it discloses no new information. An announcement would have been approrpiate had the opposite been true, i.e., expected adverse impact of the virus. However, even then, I think the market generally understands that we are in a rapidly evolving situation and it it difficult for companies to make forward projections, as any projection is subject to the generally-accepted uncertainty.

I am a long term holder of this stock and generally supportive of management and the Board, but I am concerned that the Board is demonstrating a lack of experience in coming out with this statement in the mistaken belief that it might somehow steady the SP. There are bigger forces at work and we all just have to ride it out.
