Those posting on the irrelevance of this update evidently don't understand the impact of infectious disease outbreaks on surgeries in hospitals. It is 100% important for them to reiterate that the majority of BTM use is in non-electives as misinformation can easily spread.
Widespread quarantines of medical departments can have a huge impact on elective surgeries with delays and cancellations so for one to simply say this is pointless just shows they are naive to the workings of a hospital.
Well done, bring on BARDA results next.
