The announcement seems to be more about the company making sure the posts were legal rather than doubting and fighting the allegations. I haven't seen the evidence but I expect it's reasonably solid as Vince would be aware of the legal risk he was taking if he acted without strong evidence. I'd love to see more details and appropriate disciplinary action if the allegations are true.
