    I suspect that the ones opposing the Optus/WAM deal bought into AYS years ago when the price was comparatively higher and are now likely to suffer a loss. Such is life. In the absence of a better deal, which doesn't seem to be materialising, it's probably wiser to cut your losses by utilising the WAM offer.
