To trick others into doing the same,
So they can a accumulate a very large position.

Although in this case it may not work for them,

as they have tried to push it down likely aiming for 10% or so,
To trigger stop losses so they can Buy them all up Cheap,
But have not been able to accomplish that.
Which makes me laugh.
Also makes me think their plan is not working,
That they will give up soon and
run out of Ammo.

There will be those who T2'd with the Banks Money,
using several times their portfolio value
Of the Banks $$$$ that they don't have and can't cover.
So they pretty much have to sell the next day no matter what....

That seems like a very quick way to lose a lot of money quickly,
And not a tactic I would use.

Some suggest that Banks profile people like this,
And know how many are T2'ing and if they cannot afford to cover it.
Not sure why they want to screw over their own customers,
but that what seems to happen....

Then theirs Day Traders who only hold anything for a Day,
Others who have unexpected expenses pop up.

Then there's the Long Term Holders,
Who will not Sell BIT no matter what before the news.

Those who really believe in what BIT has,
And have done their research,
Reading all of the excellent results from BIT's previous Trials,
Understanding their success rate and vale of the markets BIT 225 is used in.

Some will have done Peer Comparisons and Valuations,
As well as Market Valuations,
Looked at potential buyers,
And other similar deals to really Understand the True Value of BIT....

People like this may never sell,
Unless their is a Take-Over....

Anyone trying to trigger stops is unlikely to be losing money if they have done their due diligence and accumulated part of that ~ 220 000 picked up during the last six months at ~ 3 cents.

That leaves quite a few other reasons to sell cheap. Needing a portion back for quick liquidity or to reposition elsewhere etc.
I actually sold a portion at 11.5 just to round out my BIT holdings for easy calculations.

Just my idle thoughts. Not advice.

Otherwise, pretty good summary. Thanks for stepping it out.
