Under normal circumstances, if a poster makes an incorrect statement, then yes, they should be corrected
But some posters are perennially negative and nitpickers and all they try to achieve is to keep a negative sentiment running throughout the posts which is designed to suit their own perverse agenda
No amount of correcting will make them go away
