Liberty achieved a NIM of 2.54 whereas the market was expecting 2.49, so that is a good beat.
Liberty is also experiencing favourable credit conditions where there are lenders willing to advance it more than it requires to fund its books.
As the share market is forward looking I am not surprised this result has had minimal impact on the SP.
Once interest rates start to fall the Liberty Financial NIM will expand and boost the bottom line.
This is now a buy on outlook alone.
