I agree with you on the need to deliver 4-6 tonnes daily, but they need to secure an offtake agreement first. Unfortunately, AGY has been delivering small quantities to potential customers for testing and qualification for years now without success in securing a customer. Meanwhile, other companies have succeeded in this area, some without even proving their ability to produce or scale, and others without providing samples at all.
So the question is, why does AGY continually fail to secure an offtake agreement while others succeed in attracting customers? Is there an issue with the product (e.g. - it meets the battery grade spec of 99.5%, but has higher impurities than desired by the end user)? Is JZ targeting the wrong customer base? Or is JZ not very good at negotiating deals, stubbornly waiting for the "best deal" despite changing macro conditions making this unrealistic?
The answer is anyone's guess...
