If @GCar had any actual career / experience / qualifications of relevance (as per their unproven claims), perhaps they would easily understand the definition of what a commodity actually is:

So many things can be considered a "commodity" but there are a subset of items known as "tradable commodities" -- https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/022315/what-are-tradable-commodities.asp#toc-what-are-tradable-commodities
