It's worth remembering that MCL is a business formed in a climate where medicinal marijuana was accessed on the black market. Therefore it doesn't have a flashy corporate website but it does have hands on experience in the mm industry and the support of the Hemp party and significantly the town of Nimbin.

While Nimbin is often seen as a place full of dropouts, truth is there are many smart and politically motivated folk in the area. It was the residents of Nimbin and their mates who successfully stopped CSG in the Northern Rivers - a move that cost Metgasco (MEL) shareholders $80m and saw the Premier do a 180 on mining licenses.

Now Nimbin has been the hub of the medical marijuana movement in Australia for a long time and these guy are passionate. Tony Bower was jailed for supply of medicinal cannabis tinctures and came out and got straight back to work. The government recognises this too and has added an exemption clause into its ODC licensing so that people who have a conviction from previously trying to supply medicinal cannabis can still be eligible.

Not trying to ramp QBL but for those who are not familiar with the medical marijuana scene that has been operating illegally for years, it is good information to know. These guys don't just know the business, they have the trust of the customers already.

nb Tony Bower is an absolute legend of a hero of a guy and it would not surprise me to see his name in a future announcement from QBL/MCL.
