Curious response....have you spent most of your life in or near a city, I wonder?? So let me answer some of your points with fact.

"Very expressive presentation but, Australia has natural resources more than most countries".

You are correct. I agree with you totally.
Australia ranks number one with the most organically farmed land in the world

As the world population continues to grow, Australia could capitalise on organic export markets, says Bond University sustainability professor Tor Hundloe.
He has been investigating Australia's role in feeding the world, with the global population predicted to hit 9.7 billion in 2050.
Through his most recent research he discovered Australia had the most organically farmed land in the world: more than five times that of Argentina who came in second on the list.

"You say....Don't try and tell me we have so much spare land, are we going to fill it all with pot.?"

You say..."It's not like growing hydroponic tomatoes for a small return" True...the below report indicates it is a better feed stock to grow with a better return than tomatoes.

Estimated Cost of Production for Legalized Cannabis JONATHAN P. CAULKINS
This report commissioned by the Rand Corporation in 2010 would disagree with you. They cost the growing of hemp and marijuana in hydroponic gardens and outdoor fields. They also compare it with growing tomatoes and the costs being approximately the same with better profits for hemp and marijuana being returned.

Lucy Haslam believes it could be the start of a whole new industry for Australian agriculture.
She said she was keen to see Australia take a slice of the $250 billion global cannabis pie.
"We see this as a great opportunity for a great Australian primary industry," Ms Haslam said.

You say..."Why will not the poorer Nations or cheaper producing countries not get into growing hemp and undercut us all."
The same report in the ABC News article goes onto to say...
"Why would we sit back and let foreign companies come into Australia and do what we can do with ourselves?
"We will do more for Australian patients than foreign-controlled investors."
This is the Holy Grail. There's an absolutely huge export market. Australia is the only country that can grow every type of variety under the sun.
    Seamus, international medicinal cannabis agronomist

Federal Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce agreed.
He said Australian farmers had the skills, technology and expertise to "be at the forefront of this industry".

There are an abundance of articles on the net for those who will research that indicate Australia is gearing up to see hemp and legalized cannabis farming as the next big, long term primary industry in Australia.
Make sure you do your own research to check these facts.
