I do believe in God, but I wonder, why did God/She/He/It give us things like cancer?
I asked my friend, an evangelical pastor the same question once. His reply was the same to when I had asked him why dinosaurs are not in Genesis:
"Because without them (dinosaur bones, Cancers, any other kind of search-for-knowledge activity), humans would have nothing to do - God put those bones there to keep us busy!"
