This was pretty big news in the US last week with the 21st Century Cures drug bill passing the house, still needs to get through the Senate though. Potentially big news relative to the Genentech agreement or any antimicrobial deal forward for that matter and there have been others chasing antimicrobials in the past with Mediimune (AstraZeneca) & Cubist (since acquired by Merck).
