Assuming it is the same size and weight, with compatible instrument transformers and winding arrangement. Assuming you can sit it on the same pad and it fits your isophase bus duct on the LV side and the HV buswork?
If they are saying a few months then yes, they must have planned a compatible spare. Or they are lyinng scumbags and it will be out for a year. If you throw money at a problem it can be solved.
I wonder if they've checked out the route or if they will drive it under a bridge and knock the bushings off. It's clearly amateur hour at AGL.
