I own shares of BLK and RMS (on back of recommendations from the Speculative Investor newsletter) and based on that newsletter's commentary, I think I'd rather have RMS management operating both outfits. But with a purely RMS hat on, I don't think I'd want my RMS shares entwined with the BLK risks. I hold BLK because it seems like a reasonable risk/reward trade off now based on managements announcements recently (including today) but I like having those BLK risks separated from my RMS speculation.
