You obviously don't understand whats been one of the main driving force behind acquiring LiFX. Building managers and owners not only want to monitor their building, they also want to be able to control them directly and automatically. LiFX sensors/lights brings this to the ohm. Lighting costs are the largest component to a buildings energy consumption. LiFX sensors are the keys to the acquisition. The lighting component is an added benefit. What they can do with regards to automation adds to the ohm package. Bundling LiFX with OHM will most certainly ease the sales process moving forward. LiFX being considered a lighting coy is laughable. Go out an buy a few. Their technology and data collection hasn't even begun. Their expansion of product line is in its infancy. They are still to move into grow lights and industrial tubes and even the smaller pinned down lights. The market place for this is in the trillions of dollars. That is all coming. LifX will open many doors wide open for OHM that have to date be ajar only. OHM will open many doors for LiFX. Such as fitting out entire hotels, resorts, schools, universities, councils, etc etc. Direct sales to these really improve the 30% margin.

BTW amazon have a goal to have an Alexa in every hotel room in the world. Not much point in doing that unless the lighting is smart and can control other devices like aircon and TV. Then collecting the occupancy, air quality, temp etc data, processing it and having it usable to the building owner in real time is invaluable.
