Bottom line 450nm (380-500nm) vs bacteria = old news.

Regarding viruses - wavelength appears to have differing viricidal activity against different viruses e.g. 405nm works on norovirus, but 260nm appears better for influenza viruses. Also although 405nm works on norvirus it requires quite high dose rates.

The OHS/WHS concerns of exposing workers to prolonged periods of blue light con not be ignored.

The question is whether Buddy can use their tech to get this to work in a safe manner or is it merely a gimmick like trying to sterilise the world by spraying everything with Pine-o-Clean?
I suspect it will prove to be the latter. I use different wavelength medical lasers a lot and they are not "blunt" instruments, usually having very specific indications dictated by wavelength and power output.
However, as a potential shareholder, a crap load of Pine-O-Clean is being sold right now ..... & fools and their money are easily parted so why not pay Buddy?

And for the hair splitters, UV light is typically 10-400nm so 405nm isn't too far off. BTW I wasn't into it ever but 405nm is used for Blu-ray applications.

As was pointed out earlier, the OHS issue of blue light exposure to eyes is in regard to looking directly at them for hours over years increasing the risk of cataracts possibly and retinal issues.

As you would know using different wavelength medical lasers for different pigment colour tattoo removal is not the same.
