BUD/Lifx has (as far as I can tell) sorted out their funding issues (for the purpose of supply) - supply is a slightly different matter and invariably that is affected by Covid-19 for the time being. They would not be getting these orders if there were concerns on the retailers' part that that supply wasn't going to happen.

Just because something isn't available on the Lifx website, doesn't mean a whole lot.

You know what is also not discussed in light of the above - Phillips doesnt even sell Hue direct to market. If Lifx gets these consumer products right continually now (rather than the niche/highly expensive lighting they have sold to date) there's every reason they stop selling via their website and instead let the big box and online retailers run it and compete on price themselves (whilst then having a better ability to play with their margins on much larger orders).

I would call myself quite tech savvy but have only just made the jump into smart lighting - I absolutely love the lifx products we have. After some setup issues (which came down to a firewall on the router - once that was addressed it was a cinch to add the other lights), I have enjoyed the lighs every day - just having timers on lights and the ability to turn them on and off via our google home is valuable when I am carrying my child up or down stairs.

Smart Lighting is going to proliferate massively in the next few years. Smart apartments/home and the elderly - massive markets...

The rest of this calendar year is going to be very interesting.

Also Phillips has the name and isn't just a lighting company therefore it can avoid such luxuries of not doing things correctly.

LIFX is no Phillips due to this cmon tech man.
