We were told the US utility deal (600,000 lights ) (NB prior to the development of the $US10 the cheapest LIFX light was about $20)--- was postponed until H2 as dealings at CES about this "mega deal " were being finalized.
We were also told the mega deal was multiple times the US utility. Since that time the $10US white light was developed and tested, then an initial 500,000 light order for parts was placed with Eastfield and today we are informed of the first Purchase orders worth $3.8m.

IMO "the mega deal" is NOT one order, but is an agreement for multiple large size orders over a period of time. The agreement has begun.

Considering the time of the year we are in,the revenue for 2018 and 2019 for Q2 and Q3 tend to be the smallest of the year at around $6.5m-$8m. This one order today gets to 1/2 that revenue number instantly.And importantly, this deal is profitable, unlike deal made by prior management.!! With the addition of the global purchase shelf stocking order I would expect Q2-Q3 CY20 quarters to be materially larger than the last year. We were also told if this Mega deal fell in Q4CY19 that 70-100% revenue growth and profitability would have been achieved. Hopefully that transitions to CY20.
What that all leads to in the final quarter of this year is what we are all interested in.

Costs have been cut, unprofitable deals have been renegotiated and large scale profitable orders have commenced.

Stock coming out of voluntary escrow were issued at 8c to angel investors in Lifx. They have been invested in the LIFX journey for 8 years. At 1c it would seem pointless to sell out. Especially as the mega deal has finally landed. This is just my opinion.
At current market cap, Bud is priced for failure and for Eastfield to foreclose on the debt. Today's two announcement address both those concerns. In tough times the team is doing well, albiet slower than everyone would have liked!!

How about we hear this from the company and not you. It’s guesswork otherwise and historically you’ve been wrong almost all the time.

It’s a disgrace they haven’t said if Payment will indeed be upfront and if this is the mega deal they have been referring to. We deserve more than guesswork.
