Let me try explain one last time the way things work. There are two parts to the business. The Managed services side requires deals and contracts signed. The commercial side does not. They have agreements. The way the Lifx business works is best buy will have a number of lights they expect to order in every month of the years based on algo modelling.
They place an order and want the stock 3 days later. For this to be possible they need to give lifx 3 month prior notice of what they expect to order. They are high credit worthy companies and stick very close to there estimates.
This is what this announcement is all about. They can not provide complete details of who is ordering what and how much they are making on each retailer!!! Margin is maintained and the light is sold for a profit is all the ASX will allow.
This first 500,000 light order would only be a fraction of what these retailers would be expecting to order this year. This is to stock shelves and doesn't include sell through.

The fact that this light is $10 and can be connected to Alexa simply by screwing the bulb in is mind blowing.!!
200m Alexa out there just waiting to be connected!!

How can you write this stuff when Lifx just had an appalling qtrly with less revenue than last year and $14m turned away!!

"Dare to dream." Exactly, like we've been doing for years. Because dreams haven't turned to any deals! If it was up to you and a few others on this forum the sp would be $1. Realists see the significant issues which is why it's 2c!!
