I said in response to a taunter
@chriss0011 (or similar name) that I would eat one of my hats if SP fell to 5 cents.
It has flirted with 5 cents a couple of times and broken it for five minutes today, but it has always closed at above 5 cents and will do so today after this fine announcement. I am calling today the absolute bottom. Today was the absolute last chance to load the truck up at 5 cents. I hope you all grabbed the opportunity to get some in the low five cent range.
@Holdtight is being very conservative with his numbers based on selling just one light per store. Imagine 5000 stores each selling 20 bulbs a day at $2 profit. That is USD $200,000 a day profit or more than a million bucks a week profit. I can't see Target signing up shelf space in 1,900 stores if they only plan to sell one light per store per day! Why on earth would they?
And if each store sells 50 bulbs a day, that is USD $500,000 a day profit. I think I am being conservative. LIFX bulbs will be EVERYWHERE the consumer goes at the shops or online. Household name status is now assured. Move over Philips, the new kid on the block is taking over your turf.
