It is dissapointing communication, unfortunately it seem to be human nature, or at least ASX CEO nature.
After reading the open briefing in entirety at a slower pace I took a more charitable view, that Stafford was actually being very open and honest, but that sadly in a misguided manner saw fit to try to soften the breaking of the news - I still wish he hadn't taken that approach.
I've reacted in the same manner as you wrt companies in the past, and regretted it. The ST sp damage is probably about done imho, therefore it might be best to take a cooling off period before acting. Easy to end up going from the frying pan to the fire, eg are OZL or EQN any better?
