came across an interesting article on *. Link is way too long and wouldn’t work here anyway, but if you put the heading below and do a google search you’ll find it:

grade is often discussed here and some think much of our resource is too low grade. Well the $1.7b Caravel project is looking to produce 71,000 tpa at 0.24%!

I’ve always thought 0.3% was the lower end of acceptable grade for a large porphyry. This article says 0.2-0.7%.

we keep generating good results when the market wants spectacular every time. But they’re adding tons to what is already an impressive resource. I’m confident we’ll reach their target 10m Oz, in time.
