Hi Mal - Fat finger problem - apologies - it should have read " a project on that scale should have obvious economies of scale"
My meaning being that with a large tonnage operation the economies of scale mean that even low grades can be very profitable.
One obvious example is BHP's Escondida copper mine.
They are mining ever lower copper grades but continue to generate massive cashflows and profits.
While we are talking gold/copper at Limon/Bramaderos, the concept of economies of scale applies equally.
