All fine n dandy if:

a. your ucg technology is a goer

b. you have 10's to 100's of billions of funding

c. you are into world domination via ucg

Imo the incremental value of this increased acreage is minimal ... LNC have too many MOUs, deals and coal reserves around the world ... and not one near term UCG project.

The focus at all costs should be on technology development at this stage ... the deals might make more sense if the technology was ready to roll out.

Imo, the fixation on rolling out deals and MOUs is a distraction ... churn if you like.

I have posted before on a number of UCG threads that you need a JORC resource of no more than 300 mt and an investment of $0.5 bill (for a power station) to $2 bill (for a GTL plant or similar).

So, where are the $$$$ and staff going to come from to roll out projects to support billion tonne coal reserves around the globe?
